Do you need a visa?
British nationals, European Union citizens, Australians, Canadians, Japanese and U.S.A nationals don't need to get a visa to enter Morocco and will be allowed to stay in the country for the tourism purposes for up to three months. However your passport will need to be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the country.

How can I get there?
Various airlines offer direct flights from the UK to Morocco, with many serving the country's two busiest airports - Marrakech and Casablanca. British Airways, Thomson Flights, Royal Air Maroc and easyJet are just a few of the carriers that operate regular services between the two nations. Flights to Morocco from the UK are pleasantly short and take an average of around three hours.

What is the local currency and what currency should I take?
The local currency is the Moroccan dirham. It's worth noting that you aren't allowed to take any dirhams out of the country with you, so if you've got money left at the end of your trip you'll need to change it back. ATMs can be found in all the main cities and tourist areas, while major credit cards are widely accepted in these destinations too. It's best to carry cash if you're visiting remote or rural regions, or if you're doing some bartering in the souks.

What is there to see and do?
Morocco is a wonderful all-round destination, with vibrant and bustling cities, amazing historical attractions, beautiful coastlines, stunning mountains and vast areas of desert. When is Ramadan?
Ramadan is held on different dates each year and is determined by the moon's cycle. If you want to find out the dates of Ramadan in advance make sure you check with one of our travel advisors before booking your holiday. Ramadan lasts for approximately 29 to 30 days each year.

Is it safe to drink the tap water?
The tap water is not considered to be safe to drink in Morocco and it's recommended that you stick to bottled water during your stay.

What is the best way to book excursions?
