Chill out on the beach

When it comes to Morocco's beaches, there's nowhere better to enjoy the seaside than Agadir. This coastal city experiences some 300 days of sunshine per year, making it the ideal spot to soak up the rays and stroll along the sunkissed sand of its golden beach.

There are numerous hotels and all inclusive resorts located here where you can have a fantastic stay, with all the amenities you could want for a chilled out holiday on hand. Make sure you pay a visit to the old kasbah, which, although in ruins, still provides stunning panoramic views of the bay. This is a fantastic spot to watch the sunset from, too.

As Agadir is on Morocco's Atlantic coastline, it sees some excellent swells roll in and break on the beach, making it a prime place for surfing. Whether you're new to the sport or have been catching waves for a while, you can grab a board here and have a go during your holiday in Morocco.

Other water sports that are popular in the area include jet skiing, wind and kite surfing, and sailing, while on dry land you can visit one of the many golf courses around Agadir, or go for a horseback ride along the shore or in the foothills of the nearby mountains.
