Marrakech - Marrakech is at the top of many people's lists when it comes to Moroccan cities to visit, with its medina and souks among the main attractions. These offer a glimpse into traditional Moroccan life, while landmarks like the Saadian Tombs and Koutoubia Mosque are well worth exploring. Don't leave without spending some time in the Gueliz district, with its upmarket boutiques and leafy green streets.

Fez is the home of Moroccan education, boasting multiple medersas, as well as one of the world's oldest universities.
